About Us
Hi All!
I just wanted to tell you a little bit about who I am and why I LOVE what I do!
I have been a dog lover my entire life. It all began with Mathew, who I found tied to a tree. Knowing that we needed each other in our lives, I hid her in my room for three days before she was discovered by my mom. I was in luck, as my mom instantly saw the connection. Since then, my life has revolved around dogs.
I reside in Anchorage, Alaska with my husband, two wonderful children, and two dogs. Kona, my 7 year-old beautiful English black Lab, and Rufus, a 8 year-old rescued goofy Saint Bernard, have both titled in Obedience: Beginning Novice and Novice and Rally: Novice and Advanced (CD), Canine Good Citizen, and Tricks titles.
I received formal training and certification through Bergin University of Canine Studies in 2018 for therapy, service, and mobility canines.
I am an American Kennel Club (AKC) certified trainer through Animal Behavior College (ABC). As such, I am able to administer the Puppy Star, CGC, CGC-Advanced, CGC-Urban, and Trick certifications.
I believe dog training should be FUN for the dog and family. My motto is "I'm not here to train the dog, but their humans".
I love teaching and look forward to seeing you all in class!
